HospitalTR is a patient coordination agency. We arrange travel, accommodation, transfers, interpreters and a single point of contact for people who come to Istanbul for treatment. We do not diagnose, treat or operate, and we do not give medical advice.
Treatment is carried out by partner hospitals, clinics, surgeons and dentists. They are responsible for every medical decision, including whether a treatment is right for you.
Information on this site is general
The descriptions of treatments, timelines and recovery on this site are general information to help you prepare your questions. They are not a diagnosis, a recommendation or a treatment plan, and they may not apply to your situation.
Typical durations, such as how long you stay in Istanbul or in hospital, are examples. Your surgeon or dentist sets your own plan and may change it for medical reasons.
Only your surgeon or dentist can decide
Whether a treatment is suitable for you can only be decided by a qualified surgeon or dentist after reviewing your health history, examinations and test results. They may decide that a treatment is not right for you.
Every treatment carries risks. Your surgeon or dentist explains the risks, benefits and alternatives in person before you give consent.
Results differ from person to person
No outcome can be promised. Results depend on many factors, including your health, the treatment itself and how closely you follow the recovery instructions you are given.
Before and after you travel
Talk to your own doctor at home before you decide on treatment abroad, and keep them informed afterwards. Follow the written instructions from your hospital or clinic rather than general advice from websites, including this one.
In an emergency
If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a reply from us.
