General questions
About HospitalTR, the process and your trip.
Do you perform the treatment?
No. We are a coordination agency. A partner hospital or clinic and your surgeon or dentist do the treatment and make every medical decision. We arrange everything around it and stay with you.
Which hospital will I go to?
It depends on your treatment. Each treatment has a partner chosen for that speciality. Your coordinator shares the hospital or clinic and the surgeon or dentist with you after your assessment, before you book anything.
How much does it cost?
Every plan is personal. Send us your details and your coordinator will share a written plan with everything it includes, before you book anything.
Who decides whether treatment is right for me?
Only your surgeon or dentist, after looking at your health history and tests. Sometimes the answer is no, and we tell you so.
Can someone travel with me?
Yes. Tell us early so we can arrange the hotel room and transfers for two.
Will someone speak my language?
Your coordinator replies in English, and an interpreter is with you at the hospital whenever the medical team speaks with you.
Do you arrange travel and the hotel?
We arrange your transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital, and hotel nights around your treatment. You book your own flights; your coordinator tells you which dates to choose.
What happens after I go home?
Your coordinator stays on WhatsApp, passes your questions to your surgeon's team and follows up until you have an answer.
Who sees my information?
Only our team and, with your consent, the partner hospital or clinic that assesses you.
How do I start?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or fill in the short form. A coordinator replies in English and becomes your one contact. Please do not send medical records in your first message; we will ask for what is needed.
Am I a candidate?
Only a surgeon can say. Send us your details and the surgeon reviews them free of charge. If the answer is no, we tell you.
Can I speak to the surgeon before I book?
Yes. Send your questions to your coordinator on WhatsApp; they pass them to your surgeon and bring the answers back to you before you book.
How soon can I fly home?
Usually about a week after arrival, once your surgeon has seen you for a final check and signed you off for travel.
What will I eat afterwards?
The hospital team gives you a staged eating plan in writing before you leave. Your coordinator can pass on any questions about it.
